Hello,

so now I've played around with my tablet for about a week and get
familiar with it. Time to start translating the OS (as this is what I
promised to do).

Heading over to the wiki [1] it turns out that the page is blank.
Moving one level higher [2] provides a bit of information.

So I wonder, whether there is a place where I can find fellow
translators?
I've CC'ed myself to bug #1004023 which deals with German translation of
v2.0. Is there a special bug for tablet? Or is it dealt in general with
Fx OS v1.4 for smartphones as well? Can this information be written down
in the wiki as well?

What about a link to the MDN site [4] in [1]? How much space shall I
reserve for it? (I'm running out of space on my laptop … time for a
clean up :-S)
Installing compare-locales [5] via easy_install, which Python version do
you use? I've set Python v2.7 as default here.

I'm eager to make Fx OS rock!
Especially as Tizen OS is coming now …

Hi Andre,

the localizations are shared between phones and tablets, for a variety
of technical constraints.

Help with the German fx os localization is good to have, you found a
good bug already.

https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:de has information about the German
localization team. Looping in the community list.

More inline.

How did you find that? Nothing links to it, looking at
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Special:WhatLinksHere/FirefoxOS/TCP/Localizing.

Might be more straight-forward to just remove that page.

2.6 and 2.7 work fine.

Thanks for the information. Will blog about it :)

Using the search:
