Mozilla Bangladesh 2013-2014 Planning Meetup

Dear Mozillians,

Mozilla Bangladesh got momentum in last 6-12 months, lot's of fresh
energetic recruits with plenty of events and meet-ups. We encountered
things that we feel good and bad as well. The good things we need to
reproduce, and from the bad we need to learn and rectify ourselves.

The community is getting bigger, activities are increasing. Of course, this
sounds good - but consequences lies ahead while we are growing. It is
always been challenging for various communities to stick with the
objectives and goals, while coping up with the *Guide Lines (SOP)*; and
sometimes it became hard to even maintain the minimum standard. To ease the
load and execute smoothly, we need to decentralize through various
community task force. This will take care our growing community and will
help us to broaden more and fine tune our activities in future.

We need your opinion and feedback; everyone must tell us what they want to
see Mozilla Bangladesh should do in future.

We are arranging a Planning meet up very soon. This will be an invite only
event. We shall invite Mozillians depending on their last 6-12 months
activities and contributions.

If you are not invited, you still can participate; let us know your
valuable thoughts, opinions and feedback.

Nice initiative, if it is for 10-15 (20 at most) people, I may arrange some
venue. but most of them are around basundhara R/A. let me know if required.

@anam bro.bashundhara is not a prob if the program ends at 4..because that time traffic is too much to reach my place..:( if it is dhanmondi or near by that i can stay till 8.00pm

venue should be somewhere that is nearer to most mozillians.
timeframe is not a fact for me I hope I can manage the whole day and night.
and as three of us will be coming from chittagong so just hope tiredness does not
catches us up :)

I think that could be a national annual event and where community will
discuss, plan and decide the paths where they will move for next year.
That would be nice if you can add this event as a regular event for
each year.

Believe me, this is going to be the most boring and tiresome day long
event. I am sure this is not the kind of event you may like to attend. So,
don't feel that you are left out if not selected to attend.

Good news - we are planning annual community meet-up; we shall invite all
active Mozillians at the time of the event. So, get active and contribute,
spread your love for Open Web and Open Internet.

Above all, we need your suggestions on what we should plan for 2013-2014.

I know meet up (because of its scale) is not the place to discuss and
plan for whole (local/national) community. I never mentioned that is
or the event should be a community meet up. But if you are going to
plan for the community then you need to include people from community
first and of-course they are community leaders. You all are from the
community. So whether you called it meet up or not, but that is a
gathering of community people. But that was not my point.

What I said and want to say that planning is important and a regular
process for building and strengthen the community. The gathering, for
the purpose of planning for whole community (again you can say
national/local) should be held in regular basis, at least once a year.
And I asked to enlist that event as your yearly event planning.
