Howdy!

We're porting an extension from Chrome to Firefox and are trying to understand the user experience for installing an add-on outside of the AMO.

When a user clicks the install button on our landing page a warning [1] pops up that says FF is blocking the installation request [2].

On the CWS we can add domains to a "verified site list" to whitelist specific installation domains for a given extension.

Is there something comparable on the AMO? Is this warning unavoidable when driving installs outside the AMO, or is there a way to verify the site / add-on so that the warning alert won't be triggered.

Thanks!
Christian
