Problems with sync between Windows 7 computers

Hi
I'm new and using Mnemosyne for learning a language. Looks good so far.
But I'm having trouble trying to get this to sync between two laptop computers running Windows 7.
I can't seem to find any "How to" anywhere - I've looked all over the mnemosyne-proj.org website and searched in the forums too. Nothing.
I've set up my laptop as the server and the second laptop (my wife's) is trying to sync to this one.
I keep getting the message "Wrong username or password" and I've tried changing it to make the usernames the same on both computers and different on both and nothing works.
A little "how to" would be nice somewhere.
My laptop tells me my server is running on 192.168.1.100
Should that be what I put into the second laptop as the server??
What username should I use?
Do I need to have a password?
Any help would be appreciated.
