Hi Michael
1) Edit card (shortcut "Ctrl E")
2) Insert sound (shortcut "Ctrl S") and a window opens: pick from wherever your sound files are to be found
3) Mnemosyne then stores a copy of the sound-file in its own media-folder
4) Done, ready to learn
If I have a lot of sound-files to enter I create a tab separated txt file (usually I start off in Excel...) with all references to sounds in it. Something like this:
A Sound_1 <audio src="AZOOM0001.mp3">[tab]B Sound_1 <audio src="AZOOM002.mp3">
A Sound_3 <audio src="AZOOM0003.mp3">[tab]B Sound_3 <audio src="AZOOM004.mp3">
A Sound_5 <audio src="AZOOM0005.mp3">[tab] B Sound_5 <audio src="AZOOM006.mp3">
A Sound_7 <audio src="AZOOM0007.mp3"> [tab]B Sound_7 <audio src="AZOOM008.mp3">
(I have learned that systematic names, like in example are very useful....)
Using this method, before importing the cards, I need to make sure the sound files are present in Mnemosyne media folder.
Good luck!
/ Henrik

I imported a set of cards from CueCard into Mnemosyne. Those cards had audio files attached to them, but the audio portion was apparently not imported. I am therefore attempting to attach audio files to these cards within Mnemosyne. Unfortunately, it seems as if one can only add audio to a new card, not to one that has already been created. Is there a work around for this?
Many thanks.
