I added a card yesterday (to latest Mnemosyne 2.x release, downloaded tarball), then without closing Mnemosyne I put my Ubuntu (12.04) laptop to sleep. Today when I opened the laptop Mnemosyne didn't appear to notice 24 hours had passed. I figured it might not realize without me closing and reopening the app, but that didn't help.

The card that I added is the only one in my collection, and I rated it '1', so maybe it's just not time to quiz me yet? Even if that's the case I'd like to know whether I should always exit Mnemosyne before putting my machine to sleep. Similarly, will Mnemosyne get confused in any damaging way by time zone jumps?

Thanks for the great project,

Joe G.

The reason you don't see a change in the 'scheduled' counter is indeed
because the grade is still 1, i.e. it's still in the learning stage.

Feel free to leave open Mnemosyne during hibernation, it will
auto-update the schedule after waking.

Rollover occurs at 3am in the local timezone. So, there could be some
transient phenomena while your changing timezones, but not of them will
affect your schedule too much.

Hope this helps,

Peter
