Well, there still would be a chance for us to live, if there is no sunlight, that means that there is most likely no Sun. Well, if there was no Sun our planet would be floating randomly through space. There is a slight chance that we will land in a different solar system and that evolution process would occur again. A fun factor to think about is that maybe during the evolution process we adapt to things differently hence making us maybe with three arms or two mouths or no hair, or ect.
Humans can also depend of electricity. They can grow plants with lights, but the population wouldn't grow as much and most likely would have to be controlled.
Most likely if this does occur it would mean the Sun would have died. The way that stars usually do after a certain amount of time, the problem with this is that the Sun dying can cause a mass amount of different things that will end up wiping out all of the Earth spontaneously. It could implode upon itself causing a black hole.
