Our whole world depends on sunlight basically so what would happen if
it was no longer there?

If there was no more sunlight then all plants would die because plants need the sun for photosynthesis, which produces their energy. That would cause all the plant eating animals to die because there would then be no plants for them to eat. Since there will be not more plants humans would start dying from not getting nutrients from fruits and vegetables.

Something else that would happen is a major effect one earth atmosphere and cause extremely cold  temperatures, this change will cause all life to die due to the cold temperatures

Although most people will think this is a silly question, I actually think it's awesome. I hope different people talk about all the different things that would be different. It's more than just cold and life. Lots of things on earth are powered by the heat of the sun? Any more takers?

If there wasn't any sunlight it would be funner. Imagine being in
school at night even though its day. Also you could be able to see the
planets clearer beacuse there less light. It would be funner also
beacuse its easier to scare people. Even though it would be funner it
would also be scarier. First of all you would have to watch out for
things in your way. Also we wouldn't have solar-powerd obejects that
help our envoirment. Also imagine never knowing what time its starting
to get dark since its always dark.

All I can say is...
No sunlight= No plant life= No oxcygen= No life..
Also if we could just amazingly some how survived then we would live with ZERO GRAVITY( would be fun)!!
And things would be slow and everyone would be floating.

Well, there still would be a chance for us to live, if there is no sunlight, that means that there is most likely no Sun. Well, if there was no Sun our planet would be floating randomly through space. There is a slight chance that we will land in a different solar system and that evolution process would occur again. A fun factor to think about is that maybe during the evolution process we adapt to things differently hence making us maybe with three arms or two mouths or no hair, or ect.

Humans can also depend of electricity. They can grow plants with lights, but the population wouldn't grow as much and most likely would have to be controlled.

Most likely if this does occur it would mean the Sun would have died. The way that stars usually do after a certain amount of time, the problem with this is that the Sun dying can cause a mass amount of different things that will end up wiping out all of the Earth spontaneously. It could implode upon itself causing a black hole.

What I say is:

No sunlight = no warmth + no light = no life = earth-sized ice cube +floating randomly in space.

@josh: The sun would first need to grow into a red giant, which it would then sawllow up everything to the asteroid belt since it's so big, meaning we would become one big piece of charcoal before the sun swallows us into nonexistence. Because of the Sun's small size, it does/will not have the capacity to become a black hole, it would become a planetary nebula and eventually a white dwarf.  :{B
