A postdoctoral position is available in the computer vision group GRAM
( http://agamenon.tsc.uah.es/Investigacion/gram/ ) at the University
of Alcalá ( http://www.uah.es/en/ ), in Spain.

The selected candidate will work in the context of the H2020 MESMERISE
project ( http://sanjorgetecnologicas.com/mesmeriseh2020/index.html )
with a particular focus on advanced semantic segmentation solutions
for X-ray images, using deep learning.

The candidate must of course hold a PhD degree, and should have
published multiple papers in any of the following journals or
conferences:
- IEEE T-PAMI, IJCV, or CVIU.
- Proceedings of ICCV, ECCV, CVPR or BMVC.

Experience with deep learning libraries (e.g. Caffe, MatConvNet,
PyTorch, etc.) is a prerequisite

Contract terms:
Start: April 2018 (Tentative)
Duration: one year, extension possible. The appointment is full time.
Location: Alcalá de Henares, Spain. Alcalá de Henares is a lovely
city. Its historical center is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
Alcalá is very close to Madrid (35 km). Barcelona and Valencia are
just 3 hours away.
