Call for papers: NIPS 2015 workshop, proceedings published in JMLR

Dear colleagues,

This year we are organizing a workshop on feature extraction at NIPS 2015 conference in Montreal. The event is chaired by researchers from Google and NYU: Dmitry Storcheus, Mehryar Mohri, Afshin Rostamizadeh, and Sanjiv Kumar.

The proceedings will be published in a special issue of The Journal Of Machine Learning Research. If you would like to speak up and share your work in this field, please send a paper to featureextrac...@gmail.com by October 10th, 2015.

The workshop will bring together researchers from various fields of machine learning to discuss better ways to extract features from raw data. The topics include: manifold learning, metric learning, dimensionality reduction, deep neural networks.
