The University of Liverpool and My Home Move Ltd. are seeking to appoint a
Senior Scientific Developer / KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership)
Associate in an exciting role on a data analytics and machine learning
collaborative project between the Department of Computer Science at the
University of Liverpool, and My Home Move Ltd. (www.myhomemove.com). The
department has been one of the strongest departments in the country in
terms of its research, as rated in REF 2014, and the company is the UK's
leading provider of conveyancing services. You will work for 3 years in
this Innovate UK funded project to design, implement and integrate novel
intelligent solutions that automate the conveyancing and document
classification operations within the company. You will need to have
substantial machine learning, natural language processing or text mining
skills, as well as good software engineering and communication skills and
team working spirit. The work will take place in an applied research and
commercially focused environment in Leicester. A minimum 2.1 BSc degree in
computer science or a related discipline is required, together with a PhD
in the machine learning and/or text mining areas.
