The Department of Computer Science and Automation(CSA) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is seeking an exceptional post-doctoral research associate to work with the group of Prof. Chiranjib Bhattacharyya. The candidate will conduct fundamental research on exploring Multi-dimensional point process for the Analysis of Temporal Event streams.

The candidate should ideally have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in the last couple of years, in Computer Science, Mathematics or related disciplines with expertise in Point processes developed in

Machine learning community.

The ideal candidate should

---have proven track record of publication in top-tier conferences in Machine Learning.

---be able to work independently

----have Prototyping skills in C++, Python, Java, or Matlab.

----Experience with machine learning frameworks such as SciKit-Learn, PyTorch or Tensorflow.

This position is for one year, and is made possible by a generous support from HP Labs. On completion of the fellowship the candidate may be considered on merit/performance for a full-time research scientist position with the machine learning group at HP India R&D center, Bangalore.
