June 9, 2015 -- UPDATE. The converter tool for conversion of MIT App Inventor Classic projects to MIT App Inventor 2 projects is on the way, likely a few days away, but to be as effective as possible, requires additional development and testing. In the meantime, for any Classic projects that are important to you to maintain, please be sure to first open them in MIT App Inventor Classic, preferably with the designer and blocks editor as well, and then download the project .zip file. Opening the project will trigger an upgrade process to ensure your project is in the latest AI1 project format.
