I enclose a picture of the code blocks do not always understand why that error and sometimes locks the application with the message "runtime error" and the application is closed, perhaps oversize memory usage by loading the video?

is this a video uploaded as asset into App Inventor?
what is displayed in Label1.Text? Is the source correct?
you can try to find it out using "Do it"

is the way it is right because even if by error the video is opened and executed
how can I open the video as an asset rather than use video player within the screen? perhaps started as an asset but not the same mistake?

I solved the problem by opening the video with an activity instead of using videplayer1
this way I can open and close the video repeatedly without having any error in the application
