Was there supposed to have been an update to the AI2 emulator to accompany release nb149?

The emulator Android version won't support the Firebase component.

I re-downloaded and installed, and saw no difference.

See attached install package properties nd error messages.

Release of the emulator are not necessarily synchronized with App Inventor releases. We are working on a replacement for the emulator. The issue we have to deal with is that simply upgrading to a later version of Android significantly slows down the emulator load time. We are actively looking at other alternatives... stay tuned.
