Hey App Inventors -
I wanted to share a couple of free extensions that we developed at Thunkable that leverage two of the most powerful artificial intelligence tools currently available--the Microsoft Emotion Recognizer (based on the Microsoft Emotion API) and the Image Recognizer (based on the Microsoft Computer Vision API).
Both extensions allow users to select a picture they have already taken or take a new one and return a most likely emotion (for an image with a single face) or a one line description of the image. More details on how these blocks work can be found here.
To use them in App Inventor, you'll need to attain API server keys from Microsoft Cognitive Services.
