Hi all,

I am a teacher working on an app for our school district superintendents so that they would be able to post snow day information to twitter. I'm having an issue with the twitter part. I believe that I am doing something wrong around the callback URL. I just put our district web page in there and continue to get this error attached. I kinda figured this would be easier than this...am I supposed to make a special page for the callback URL? What I've read is its a URL where users get sent to...but in my app I'm under the impression that the keys that I've put into the Twitter component will allow the user to login to twitter.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I apologize for the picture being in landscape, i took it in portrait mode, but it keeps rotating for some reason.

oh bummer. I'm somewhat glad its not just me, because I've been looking at this for a few hours.

I was thinking of trying the file sharing as a work around: http://explore.appinventor.mit.edu/ai2/file-sharing

if others are in the same boat

@Taifun: If I recall correctly, Jeff looked into this and the conclusion was that we wouldn't be able to fix it due to Twitter making integration more complicated. Given the size of the team, I think that we are going to table fixing the Twitter component for the time being.

@Evan Worth: Depending on what you're trying to do, it might make sense to start a sharing intent with the Twitter app using the ActivityStarter.

Regards,
Evan
