FACTS: Apple replaced 11 million batteries last year (normal replacement is ~1.5 million batteries per year)

FACTS:
o Apple swapped out ~11 million batteries while running its $29 program.

o That's about ~10 million people who "fixed" their Apple-slowed iPhones!

o That's roughly about 4% of the ~216 million iPhones sold in 2017 and an
even higher percentage of the less-than-that-number sold in 2018.

o In a normal year, Apple replaces between ~1 to ~2 million batteries.

Given that Apple iPhones take about a year to degrade, that likely means
that Apple is selling about 10 million more batteries than normal for the
conceivable future, simply by designing the flaw into their iPhones.
