Why do the Apple Apologists always try to sow FUD whenever functionality
exists everywhere but on iOS?
As you're aware, it's a classic fear-mongering move of the Apple Apologists
to sow FUD whenever a far superior product has tremendous power and
flexibility that iOS doesn't have.
Why?
Why do the Apple Apologists always try to sow FUD when confronted with
superior tools?
As a case in point, the fantastic 2-year-old New Pipe app, along with the
underlying "youtube-dl" YouTube-site-scraping code, was updated on
September 8th, to comply with unilateral changes in the YouTube web site
public API.

For those who have been living in a cave, this capability provides
*privacy* and *zero ads* and *downloading* of either *movies* or *audio*
from *any* video hosted on Youtube (and, for the youtube-dl app, far more
web sites).
- All sans Google spying
- All sans any login (even subscriptions are handled sans logging in)
- All sans visiting the web page and agreeing to unilateral TOS
etc.
Unfortunately for iOS users, as always, these powerful tools are available
on all other platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac, & Android) but iOS.
Hence, what is 100% sure to occur is that the Apple Apologists will attempt
to sow FUD, since they _hate_ the fact that everyone else has this power,
but them.
