I hadn't heard that Jerry Lewis had been
diagnosed with Insulinitis (old name: type 1
diabetes). Per the following article, he was
diagnosed with Insulinitis when he was
about 71 years old. He's now 86, and the
article says he was hospitalized Tuesday
night due to collapsing caused by a severe
low glucose event.
