தீர்த்தங்காரர்   சிற்பம் காவேரிப்பாக்கம் அருகு துறைபெரும்பாக்கம் கருவேலமரங்களிடையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பு 

ஏதுதும் மூளியாகாத ஆ னால் மழை வெய்யில் இவற்றால் சிறிது தேய் ந்த  நிலை 

வேலூர் அருங்கட்சியகம் செல்லுமாம் அப்போது அங்கு இதனுடன்சேர்த்து  10 தீ ர்த்தங்கரர் ஆகிவிடுமாம்

A stone sculpture of Mahavira dating back to the 10th century was found on an

agricultural land at Thuraiperumbakkam near Kaveripakkam on Saturday.

It was found while removing seema karuvelam trees

A stone sculpture of Mahavira dating back to the 10th century was found on an agricultural land at Thuraiperumbakkam near Kaveripakkam on Saturday.

Officials said that the sculpture was found on the land when an earthmover was removing “seemai karuvelam” trees. Revenue officials were informed and the sculpture was taken to the taluk office at Nemili.
