I recently sold my open trailer and I am now in the market for an enclosed trailer. I plan to outfit the enclosed trailer with removable wheel chocks and some tie down points. I am not sure if I will just use D-rings or possibly install E-track for tie downs yet.  Anyhow, I was looking for some input on wheel chocks. I had Pingle removable chocks on the old trailer and thery were alright, but pricey. I see that Northern tool is selling what look like Pingle knock-offs for 30 bucks each. So, if anyone can share their experience with any of the various wheel chock and tie down options for a trailer that can easily be removed, I would be grateful for the advice. Thanks.

Personally, I prefer the sturdier option. The Pit Bull is super easy to use and locks the rear of the bike in on most models.  The Condor system is also rock-solid and is what I use.  Having the piece of mind that the bikes are where I left them and not tipped over is worth it.  Either option is less than a few hundred dollars more than the $30 option, but one tip over pays for the system a few times over.  Let me know if you are interested in either one, I know how to get them...

Way more than satisfied Condor Pit Stop owner here.  I've owned two Condor Pit Stops for 9 years and they've been worth every penny.  Great build quality, useful range of adjustability, and they have no problem grabbing on to skinny vintage motorcycle tires or dirt bike tires.

I just now finished installing the Condor E Track adapters in my new van.  Great stuff and rock solid.

The cheaper copies from Harbor Freight work too.  But the Condor stuff is much better.  Your call on if its worth the extra money.

I have had great success with the Condor I bought about 12 years ago. I also attatch it to my lift to steady the bike when I'm working on them.
