[Mifos-developer] Currency configuration trouble

Hello support or developers.
I have managed to install latest Mifox 17.0.1
During currency configurations, Im stuck;
1. Default/existing currency are not loading/displayed when i click currency configurations
2. When I click Add/Edit then type the currency and Click "+", it doesnt respond.

is there any bug or i failing to following the procedure

refer the attached firefox console snapshot for reference

Hello Marco

There is no any bug on Currency configurations and your procedures are correct

It seems the system didn't fetch data from database, try to reload the page and go to the currency configurations again

Also you can try to access other fields and see if its only currency or there are other data it can not fetch

If the issue persist, please don't stop to ask

Yes, I have cross check and found there are other dropbox are not comming line in client info - Gender dropbox is empty and many more

Hello Marco

Can you provide the specific prerequisites you installed, like which version of java, mysql etc and the OS you are using

One of them might be a cause

We seem to be having same issue with one of our Ubuntu server running Java 1.8.0_151.

 

Kindly advise how we can downgrade this Java version to the one which works with the Fineract distribution without any issues.

Hi Nazeer,

 

Thanks for the links, was able to completely uninstall Java and installed a lower version as shown below:

 

java version "1.8.0_131"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

 

However, I now have a problem with keytool. Looks like it wasn’t installed.

 

When I want to import my certificates, it gives the below message:

 

The program 'keytool' can be found in the following packages:

* gcj-4.8-jre-headless

* openjdk-7-jre-headless

* gcj-4.6-jre-headless

* openjdk-6-jre-headless

Try: apt-get install <selected package>

 

Kindly advise if you have managed to come across this and how we can resolve.

Hi Zayyad,

keytool is part of JAVA_HOME/bin directory. I believe you might have not updated path environment variable properly.

Yes I have confirmed that keytool is in the $JAVA_HOME/bin directory.

 

The path is also updated, see below how my environment file looks like:

 

PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games”

JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.8.0_131"

 

Kindly advise if I have missed anything.

However, I now have a problem with keytool. Looks like it wasn’t installed.

 

When I want to import my certificates, it gives the below message:

 

The program 'keytool' can be found in the following packages:

* gcj-4.8-jre-headless

* openjdk-7-jre-headless

* gcj-4.6-jre-headless

* openjdk-6-jre-headless

Try: apt-get install <selected package>

 

Kindly advise if you have managed to come across this and how we can resolve.
