Thanks for getting in touch. I'm not sure if this is your first time trying
to get involved with Mifos, but if it is - welcome to the project!

For installing on Ubuntu, your best bet would be to look through the latest
documentation here:

release file)

The third guide I'd like to point you towards is the Workspace 2.0 wiki
page:

... which, although the guide isn't as detailed as the ones above, will
allow hot code replacement to work on your dev machine.

Regarding your error, looking through the developer machine configs
(http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Developer+Machine+Configurati
ons), there are a few people using Tomcat, but I've never been one of them.
I stick with Jetty (7.3) as per the install guides above.

A good bet for obtaining further help with getting set up is the Mifos
Developer mailing list (link below) - everyone is extremely friendly and
has such a variety of development experience to input on any problems you
have. I've cc'd the list into this email in case someone has more
experience of using Tomcat with Mifos, and can give you more hands-on help:

(I'd urge you to be as specific as possible with any post there e.g. if
there are any error log snippets you can paste in, or at least link to,
that would be great.)

It's worth a look spending some time to familiarise yourself with the list
archives in general, actually - at least, I found it useful as a sort of
orientation exercise, to understand who's doing what on the project and
likely sources of help should I need it.

However tomcat6 is running well

What could be the problem?
