Word 2007 EPS import filter

Since WordXP, the Encapsulate PostScript filter is rendering the actual
Postscript code for the screen. This is nice looking, because you see all
the details in of the graphic art, but it takes quite amount of time to
render, especially when blends and postscript fills are involved.
With WordXP I can get around that problem, because I can still use the old
Word2000 EPS import filter which just shows a TIF representation of the EPS
file, but with Word2003 and Word2007 this trick does not work anymore.
So since the days of WordXP I am arguing in this forum, and contacted
www.accesssoftek.com from Berkeley, CA who supplies the filter for the
Microsoft office suite, but I did not get any reaction at all.
It would be very easy to solve that problem. Just make it like the
programmers of the Word CorelDraw import filter: ignore fills and blend for
the screen representation.
Or implement a functional switch to show ALL or just show the TIF preview.
