TCP/IP Error 10038

I have a WIN95 pc running a TCP/IP socket client program.
I have a WINNT 4.0 server running a TCP/IP socket server.

I get a 10038 socket error on the server side once a client has opended a
connection and attempts to send the first packet.

What causes this ?
