Debug Information when Programs hangs on User-Machine

Hi There,

we got some probleme here.
We changed our OS from OS/2 to Windows 2k.
Under OS/2 we got debugging Informations from a small Tool which runs as a
service.
Now under W2K we don't have a tool like that.

Our requirements for that tool are

- Run as service
- do not needs much resources
- saves Debug-Information in a file

What do we meen with "Debug-Information"?
When running a programm in development in the debug-mode, and it hangs, you
can get Informationen what ist the content of some variables. Exactly that
we do need.

Any sugestions???

ist mir klar das es eine deutsche Newsgroup ist. War nur etwas faul, das

Was genau meinst Du mit "System Diagnostics - Namespace"??

It's not as much a question of perfection but perhaps of using a spell checker
before posting. And take the time to post in German to microsoft.public.*de*.vb.
Some people might be annoyed otherwise.
And, if multi-posting need be, make sure that answers show up in all newsgroups
posted to, not only in microsoft.public.vsnet.debugging.
