As a follow up. I noticed that the code for the artifacts appears to be hosted a git hub. I cloned the repos and am attempting to get the projects to build successfully (so far it looks like we are going to be in good shape but I still have more modules to build before the failures stop). It appears the project artifact repo is down and has been for a little while (anyone know if there are plans to restore it?). If I can get these to build I will upload them to another repo like central or sonatype- at least until the official repo (or a replacement) is back up. 

I am hoping we hear from the devs at some point (I have tried emailing them but keep getting bounces). If we do not, forking has been mentioned- I am willing to volunteer to do some of the groundwork for that if people are interested in getting this project up and moving again. I am willing to become a developer either way whether it is with the current project or a fork.

I will let you guys know what happens with the attempts to rebuild the projects- hopefully we can find a new home for them.

Let me know if anyone is interested in helping to get a good idea going again.
