I tried MathJAX for quite a while and mostly it is satisfactory, until....
I worked out a webpage with modal window generated with jQuery codes. In this host page, MathJAX is enabled, and there are LaTeX equations shown correctly. In the modal window, I use jQuery API function load() to load a separate html file containing LaTeX statements, but the LaTeX equations are simply not converted. Have anyone found the same situation? Thanks.

without a minimal example, it might be anything, but are you familiar with

http://www.mathjax.org/docs/2.0/typeset.html

and MathJax.Hub.Queue(["Typeset",MathJax.Hub]);?

Peter.

Hi, Peter,

Much thanks for the instruction. The solution works perfectly.
I am sorry for not having posted "a minimal example". I know it a bad way to ask the question this way. It was 1:30 AM over here (maybe 5 hours since I struggled with this problem?) and I was really too tired to cut the relevant codes for pasting here. Amazingly, the post you found for me showed exactly what I was working on. It would be nice if you can tell me how you manage to search and find that. (I am not a native English speaker and I failed to put good search keywords very often.)

Thanks again!

Hi,

No problem at all. Glad we could help!

All I did was search for "jQuery" in the search at https://groups.google.com/group/mathjax-users and take the second result.

But I think you're right that it's worth documenting. I'll add it to our LFAQ at https://github.com/mathjax/MathJax/wiki/LFAQ----less-frequently-asked-questions when I have the time.

Peter.
