Got a slow loading WooCommerce site, Please can anyone give me some pointers?

Hi.. 

Came to group for first time yesterday. Many thanks for the info, I'm sure I can learn a lot going forward. 

I have a slow loading WooCommerce site, https://www.drinks-snacks.com/?doing_wp_cron=1574355861.3497829437255859375000 that also comes up with this long /?doing_wp_cron=1574355861.3497829437255859375000 after the domain. I know somethings not right but not sure where to look. 

Please can anyone offer some words of wisdom?

Hi Peter,

It looks like you might have alternate_wp_cron enabled.

Have a look in your wp-config.php file for:

define( 'ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true );

If that is the case you will need to find out who and why it's enabled.

Did someone else build your site or it could be your web host if wp-cron.php causes issues.
