Alternative sources for filiment?

It seems that Makerbot Industries are either consistently out of stock of 1.75mm black and now natural filament, or that they are embargoing their stock to ship with new bots. Does anyone have a good, reliable and reasonably priced alternate source for filament? Any that should definitely be avoided for cause? Thanks in a advance and happy botting!
