Hello all!! I just finished 14 days of the detox and decided to
transition to food this week. I know this sounds weird but I miss the
detox! I was thinking of going again for another 7 days. Since I only
did 14 before I don't think it could hurt. I don't need to lose much
weight so I might keep the protein shakes, but I was wondering if
another round of Inner Cleanse would be ok? I only took it for the
first 7 days. Does anyone think it's too soon?

Hope you are all feeling great!!!

Elizabeth, how did you wean yourself back to real food, did it take an entire week to start back eating real food, how many days did  it take?   I am hungry now, or I should say I am craving food and I have been detoxing for 12 days.  The weekends are really hard to get though.  How long did it take you?

 Hi Elizabeth,

How did you wean yourself back to real food, did it take an entire week to start back eating real food, how many days did  it take?   I am hungry now, or I should say I am craving food and I have been detoxing for 12 days.  The weekends are really hard to get though.  How long did it take you?

It didn't take me long. I planned on following the book on how to
transition, but it didn't work out that way ! I started by slicing up
an apple, then the next day I had some cashews, and so on. I chewed
really well and had small amounts. I kept drinking the supplements and
protein shakes, but over the past 2 days all hell broke loose and I've
been picking on all the wrong things=:( I'm going to do another 14
days with the protein shakes starting on Monday.

It only took me a few days to be able to eat a normal size meal. I
agree, this can be very hard! But hang in there, and when you're ready
to start eating, keep it healthy, don't go back to the crap food.

Good luck!

Elizabeth,
Did you gain weight back when you started eating "normal" again? I
can't imagine going through this torture (I start tomorrow) if the
weight comes back on really quickly.

I lost 15 pounds on the detox and between Tuesday and Friday I gained
4 pounds but I fell off the wagon hard over the last two days. If you
eat right after the detox and exercise you shouldn't put the weight
back on. Strange thing is before I would be really depressed that I
messed up, but now I know where I screwed up and I look forward to
going back to the detox to clear things up again. This time I am going
to transition properly!

Don't think of it as torture! You will feel so good when you are
finished . I never thought I would say this but I miss the routine!
Hang in there and don't think about eating "normal" again. That's how
we all got here!!!
