If you have a moment, come up with some arbitrary kind of test for the first four wave lessons. For each one, do something like, "Add fa'orma'o to make this sentence grammatical." or "Select which of the following is correct." or some kind of standard test question form. Do one or two for each lesson. You can see there are already some questions there to test knowledge, but we need better ones and more of them. Post them right here and I'll collect them for now.

Lesson 1:
Which is a correct translation for "This is yellow."?
a. ti pelxu
b. ta pelxu
c. zo'e pelxu
d. do pelxu
e. mi pelxu

Lesson 2:
Which is a correct translation? Select all that apply.
"This is my house."
a. zdani mi ti
b. mi zdani ti
c. ti mi zdani
d. mi ti zdani
e. ti zdani mi

You get the idea by now, I'm sure.
Just drop a couple of test questions in here for the first four lessons only.
We're going to use this as the brittle beginnings of the official testing system.
So, remember, a little participation by a lot of people is better than no participation at all.
One minute of your time is greatly appreciated.

(Here's a set intended to focus on building tanru, all the while exposing vocabulary and cnima'o usage. Some of the word usage is purposefully less-than-best, because I was trying to have many problems with the same words. Ideally, I'd have 2-3 times as many questions with the same word set. I'm sure others can come up with better examples. Also, after coming up with more, I'd reorder them to be from easiest to hardest. I keep having trouble trying to keep it easy. I also would like more {lo...ku} and FA exposure in the examples, just to tie the whole section together. Last thing: the separated last section is more for lessons than an official testing system.)

the gismu to use
badri: sad
blanu: blue
clani: long
cmila: laugh
cusku: express
lakne: probably/likely
mutce: much/extreme
tcadu: town
tcuca: teach
viska: see
zdani: house
zmadu: exceeds/is more than

Using the above gismu, replace the {brodV} with appropriate tanru.

"The blue house is really long."
.i lo broda ku brode
(.i lo blanu zdani ku mutce clani)

"He taught people to see!"
.i ko'a broda .ue
(.i ko'a viska tcuca .ue)

"I think I laugh more than he does."
.i pe'i mi broda ko'e
(.i pe'i mi cmila zmadu ko'e)

"He said with sadness, 'I will probably see it again.'"
.i ko'a broda lu mi brode ko'e li'u
(.i ko'a badri cusku lu mi lakne viska ko'e li'u)

Now, stretching the abilities of tanru a bit, try these:

"I spotted a town!"
.i .ua mi broda
(.i .ua mi tcadu viska)

"Very likely, he's teaching you."
.i ko'a do broda
(.i ko'a do mutce lakne tcuca)

"How about you talk to him more jokingly?"
.i .e'u broda fa do ko'a
(.i .e'u cmila zmadu cusku fa do ko'a)

This would be fabulous to tackle if I had the energy to manage it right now.
If you'd like to pursue this, please talk to Pierre.

I think a slightly larger set of questions just like these would be perfect as a first test.

The test should be entirely in Lojban; otherwise we'd have to maintain six
separate tests (or add another field to the questions in the database) just to
test people who speak the six source languages. There is a field for the right
answer of a fill-in-blank question, but I haven't written a page for entering
questions yet. The database will be erased from time to time as it and the
website are under development. http://ixazon.dynip.com/jbocipra/cipfi'i.php is
where it is, but I have to add some more fields to the form.
