(Yes, it's quite late; it's my fault; I hope to do better next year)

jbonunsla, the sometimes-annual social gathering for members of the
Lojban community, will be held this year in the San Francisco Bay
Area, in which many Lojbanists reside.

It will be held primarily on Saturday, 2 July 2011 and Sunday, 3
July 2011.

The gathering will take place in a shared hotel room in San Mateo:
http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/san-mateo/sfosm/hoteldetail/directions

Attendees can travel easily from the following airports, in order of
convenience: San Francisco International Airport, San Jose Airport,
and Oakland International Airport. Locals with cars are available
for pickup if necessary.

The space has room for at least 4 to sleep, and seating for about 10
people.

Our plans for activities are extremely flexible, as in we don't
really have any; this has caused issues with focus in previous
years, so suggestions regarding activities and topics are welcome,
even if you won't be attenting.

Generally, attendees can expect games, chatting in and about Lojban,
and regular breaks for food. Most attendees will arrive on Friday
and depart on Monday, so the most significant activities will likely
take place on Saturday and Sunday. At this point, it is estimated
that approximately 8 people will attend, including myself.

Followups to the main list, please.

I will arrive on Thursday at 19:00 and leave on the 5th at 23:45. I may be
staying part of the time with my aunt (la .odét.blojben.lardét. who is
mentioned somewhere in the kid show docs). All the flights on Friday, except
the most expensive, would have me arrive after sundown, and most of the
flights on Thursday were in the morning too early for me to get to the
airport on time. The flight I picked to go to SFO I could get only if I
returned to CLT on the 5th, which doesn't make sense.

It would be great to have photos of the event and it would be awesome
to have recordings of the discussion you will have together.

Some small talk in lojban to post on youtube for posterity!

remod.

Also I'd like to meet some LHCers while I'm there. You may get an email from
one of them.

It would be a good word for calligraphy, or perhaps for artistic
scripts. It's also the name of a particular script, see:

I will arrive Thursday evening. Will the room be available? If not, should I
spend the night with my aunt, or could one of the locals pick me up?

Is an Internet connection available at the hotel?

Did this really need to get copied to *every* mailing list?
