I've started a comics titled "lojbo ckule". I've just published the
first 6 pages as a starter and as a way to introduce the characters
and the enviironment (and even the introduction is still to be
completed).
For my next "chapter" I could start with the alphabet, but it would
be a rather boring lesson. I've looked at the Wave lessons, at the
many suggestions on the list (e.g. the recent message on the order in
which the CLL topics should presented) and I was wondering if there
has been any consensus reached on which one is the best approach when
teaching lojban.

For one thing, being six pages in without teaching, literally, /anything/, is a bad start.
Secondly, referencing all the various Lojban resources is not a good idea.
The video on this page http://penny-arcade.com/patv/episode/skyrims-opening , while talking about video games, I feel explains the reason behind my second point very well.
Thirdly, the teacher is horrible. This is mostly an opinion, but he strikes me as the kind of teacher that no one likes.
Because nintadni are voluntarily learning Lojban, no one does anything they don't like unless they are forced, and especially since this is a comic, which is a form of /entertainment/, the teaching really needs to be from an enjoyable character.
My suggestion is to start over from scratch, get into the teaching before the end of the first page, intertwine the introductions/story throughout, keep external references beyond Lojban.org out of the comic (one of the main functions of Lojban.org is to be a reference hub, after all) and base the teacher on the interesting, fun ones that made their subject matter enjoyable and interesting. Further, you might want to talk to those of us who have first hand experience teaching Lojban for some pointers on where to start.

As much as possible, yes. Since it's meant for people who have little to no Lojban knowledge, it either can't be, our would extremely difficult to, put in entirely, exclusively, Lojban.
That said, the more of it that is in Lojban, the better. Most foreign language teachers in my experience establish a "only this language is allowed in this class" rule. The comic's class should have that rule as soon as the characters are able to say a complete bridie. Even one as simple as {mi pendo}.
There are two reasons for this. One, the more Lojban readers (and characters) are exposed to the language the more quickly and easily they will acquire it. You do need to be careful not to do anything too complex, however. Two, the less non-Lojban in the comic, the Leeds translating work needs to done for non-English nintadni.

Sorry, the auto correct on this thing isn't perfect, and I don't always catch all of its screw-ups.
Hence "also". Having the same text in both lojban and non-lojban could
be quite helpful for learning, assuming the learner understands the
non-lojban language in question.
I'm glad you've done this, for it seems a real good job, yet I have
some remarks to state :
1°) For the purpose of paedagogics, do you intend to follow some plot
in the story ? Does the plot relate to specific grammar points ?
2°) In the first pages, we see a teacher who provides info about
websites, wikis and so on... According to me, this is a bit too
informative, but as it is only the beginning of the comics, the
following will have more content... Anyway, wikis and websites are
data fluxes that "happen" in another time than the timespan of reading
a comics, how do you project to make these interact ? Suppose there
is some new item on the wiki, will you insert it in the comics ? It
would be at the same time a smart move, and also "not up-to-date",
because the wiki is in the "here and now", whereas the comics is in
the "already published". I hope I made myself correctly understood
(?)
3°) For the fun, did you draw the characters yourself ? The drawing
is very neat !

The story has a plot which serves to give motivations to the characthers.
I considered making the comics as a series of lessons but I doubt I
would have been able to keep them varied enough. I thought that an
underlining story would have served better.
I've not worked out so many details in the plot to identify touch
points with the teaching Lojban aspects, but I'd really love to!

What is intended to pass to the reader is the existance of the
lojban.org homepage (I've devoted one page to that) and of forum where
he can interact with other Lojbanists (another page). The rest is just
there, to say that there is more for the interested reader, not really
to stick as information.

I'm not planning for such updated but it depends. If it's really
really important, I guess I would.

I'm not able to draw unfortunately :( I use a long process involving
four software: ComiPo!, Second LIfe, Gimp and Inkscape. It takes me
two or three days at least to make a page (just for the actual making
of it, not including the conception).
If you would like to participate with ideas and suggestion I'll be
happy to disclose more of the plot and the future plans (I'm not doing
it in public because something will only be revealed at a later time
in the comics and, more importantly, I might completely change my mind
:)
