As many of you are aware, that 2nd/3rd January 2013 is the 25th Anniversary of lojban's creation. We have decided to hold a special logfest, celebrating the 25 years of lojban.
The logfest is proposed to happen in Fairfax, VA on 2nd and 3rd January.
Please notify us if you plan to attend, as adequate arrangements need to be made.

I guess it would seem silly of me not to come, despite my ka tolcre, as I'm only a hop and a skip away from Fairfax.

I'm still planning to come, and am hoping I will not be too stoned out on painkillers to converse a little. (I'm having 4 teeth extracted on the 26th.)

If you're coming in at Union Station, you should make your way to the metro station (not far from the train station). Union Station is on the red line. Get on it going toward Shady Grove, then transfer at Metro Center onto the orange line going toward Vienna. Where exactly you'll get off depends on where is convenient for whomever is picking you up, but most likely you'll get off at either Vienna or West Falls Church.

Go to Vienna, at the end of the Orange Line. Our house is about 1/4

mile from the station, much of which is getting out of the parking lot.
I'll prepare more detailed directions shortly.
