Hi,

I can't grab the meaning of "stonei". I can split this lujvo into sto=>stodi=constant + nei=>nelci=fond, but I can not make a meaning of it in this context:

lu .i lu mabla nu farvi li'u se cusku le ralju noi tolci'o stonei gi'e zanru lo nu xadni tsali li'u

Which is translated as "Damn progress!" said the chief, who was an old physical-force tory.
(The scientific ape)

Thanks a lot for any help on this matter.

Álvaro

In British politics a tory is a conservative and "stonei" -> "nelci lo
nu stodi" is meant to translate that.
