Missing translation in "nu selklama le bloti"

Hi,

I've found a text in "The Coming of the Ship" which is missing the translation to Lojban:

"And he heard their voices calling his name, and shouting from the field to field telling one another of the coming of the ship." is translated as ".ije ko'a tirna nu leiko'e voksa cu krixa"

Can anyone help me on translating the missing part? I did my try, but it isn't worth to be presented here...

is my attempt. The spatial tense might be weird; I'm no expert on them, not to mention that it simply may not be smudra. 

Also, the {noi} attaching to {ko'e} is intentional, as voices cannot cusku as they are ve cusku. However, a se voksa can be a cusku. The usage in English is metaphorical, I'd say.

  I know the message is a good six weeks old, but I was busy reading la snime blabi.  Anyway, here is my take on the sentence:
