Hi, there is a new problem

if I have a Source that moves from the left to the right and everytime it is touching the other one this should move 1 step to the left......

at the end it should go back to the right side......

the Idea was to take a fast run (left-right) from one side of the grid....
everytime this run hit's the target source this light should turned on....(from the other side od the grid)

....so in the result in the next step running-light is one step shorter

but I dont know the comand that can help me to do this....(trigger...etc.) ????

It's a quite specific effect and I'm not sure to fully understand how you're making the fast source moves. At first sight, I don't think you need two sources at all with the colliding logic. It's just one source moving from right to left, maybe using the delay to emit repeating waves over the attributes to the left.

Maybe something like the attached project file.

....sorry for my english.... it's as bad as my mathemetics

1. Step: 12 RGB's ....all OFF
2. Step: lights running from left >>>to right in 1 second

.....and now the 1 Light right is ON

_ _ _ _  _ _ _ _  _ _ _ 1

now the same run but only over 11 Lamps ---- but also in 1 second

_ _ _ _  _ _ _ _  _ _ 1 1      << now 2 Lamps are on
_ _ _ _  _ _ _ _  _ 1 1 1
_ _ _ _  _ _ _ _  1 1 1 1

and so on .....so in the circle 12seconds of time and then all OFF

This is an effect you sometimes can see on RGB-Bars

Hope this is clearer to understand

Thanks for your great support

Here's a way to do it approximately without any formulas. If you want to reduce the time of the fast source running at each step, then you'd need to play with math.

TIP: you can import this effect into your project. Open your project and go in the File/import menu. Then browse for the project file you want to import. Uncheck the import patch option if you only want the grids with the sources.

thanks for the help but I had an error in my description....

because the same than you did was my first creation also
but this is is a little bit boring because when the slow build up is shorty before the other side then the
running light runs into the empty and nothing happens.

.....in my imagination the fast run holt its speed and so the other side speed up

..think,think,......

Here's another project file with some math using the grid.powerat to detect collision.
