Anybody have any idea what I can do to fix the following error I get?

[26661:1205/195817:WARNING:zygote_host_impl_linux.cc(150)] Running without the SUID sandbox! See http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on.

Same here, even though it doesn't look like it affects the behaviour of Lighttable. This is what I get:
[23738:1207/003830:INFO:gpu_info_collector_linux.cc(167)] NVCtrl extension does not exist.

FWIW, I get the same errors on Ubuntu 12.04 at startup but LightTable seems to work just fine anyway.

Hey,

I got a similar error on 64bit arch linux. When I try to run lighttable, a node-webkit window opens at the adress "nw:blank"
My error in the console is:

[7100:1208/110354:WARNING:zygote_host_impl_linux.cc(150)] Running without the SUID sandbox! See http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on.

[7117:1208/110354:ERROR:renderer_main.cc(218)] Running without renderer sandbox
[7100:1208/110354:WARNING:proxy_service.cc(885)] PAC support disabled because there is no system implementation
[7121:1208/110355:ERROR:sandbox_init_linux.cc(32)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process

I also had to do a libudev symlink to get it working "sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libudev.so /usr/lib/libudev.so.0"
It worked with the previous lighttable 2.0 versions.
any clues?

Greetings

Similar errors here with Light Table 0.2.5 on 32-bit Arch Linux. And I too had to do a libudev symlink, as mentioned by @as above.

Are there older versions of Light Table available somewhere, so we can at least use those in the meantime?

Full description:

I installed Light Table from the Arch User Repository (AUR), which contains version 0.2.5-1.

Running lighttable on the terminal opens a window with the address nw:blank and NODE-WEBKIT written in ASCII art, with the following errors:

I'm not sure what's going on there. Those errors are non-fatal. I managed to get an Arch VM working and was able to download LT from http://www.lighttable.com and run it (with the symlink hack).

Can you try downloading it from the site instead of using the AUR?

Cheers,
Chris.

Ok, I downloaded LT from the site and it works (with the symlink hack, of course). And the "errors" I posted still appear, so they're clearly non-fatal.

It seems the AUR package is screwed up somehow, because the file size for the LT executable when installed using AUR is only 61 MB, while the actual executable is 88 MB. That's pretty weird because I checked the PKGBUILD, and there's nothing fancy in there, just simple extracting and moving around files. And I also cross-checked the MD5 sum in the PKGBUILD with that of the tar.gz archive downloaded from the site; it's correct.

I believe this the issue they mention in this post explains the problem. LT wont run on Centos/RHEL 6 since they have an older version og GTK+.
