Amigos - Don Blair va a estar en Bogota el fin de semana que viene, para colaborar con Juan Camilo Cardenas de la Universidad Los Andes -- se van a poner sensores de agua ("Riffles") en un rio que esta afectada por polucion de mineria (parecido a algunos otros projectos conectados a Public Lab, como Rede InfoAmazonia).
Don pregunta si hay miembros de Public Lab en Bogota, y aunque no ha formado su horario en detalle, va a estar en la universidad entre viernes por la noche y lunes por la noche. Dice que le pueden enviar un email si quieren compartir unas cervezas y ... pues no se que es un Corralisima 1/2 Libra, pero ofrece esa tambien :-)

Hello! This is Don Blair -- this weekend I'm traveling to Bogotá to work on a Public Lab collaboration with Juan Camilo Cardenas at the University of Los Andes: we're planning on putting water monitors ("Riffles") in a river that is affected by mining pollution (similar to some other great projects connected to Public Lab t which are trying to do similar things, e.g. Rede InfoAmazonia).
If there are any Public Lab folks in Bogotá, I'm not yet sure of my working schedule, but I'll be located near Los Andes from Friday eve til Monday eve ... send me an email and we can try to meet up for a beer and a Corralisima 1/2 Libra!
