Custom binding provider

Steve has published example of custom binding provider on his blog

What are plans on supporting it or making it official on knockout.js
github repository?
It goes very well with knockout.mapping pluging, so maybe it make
sense to convert it into official knockout.binding plugin?

The concept is great because HTML side of solution is very clean from
web/UI/UX designer point of view.
Especially, it minimizes merging efforts, because UX is done
separately from MVVM/business logic.
It is even better than ko comment-based control flow, because
reshuffling of HTML does not break MVVM/busines logic...
