Article Manager: Ordering by Modified date

The backend article manager provides the Created By user and date and you can sort on it, but no Modified By user and date.

I have an implementation where articles will often be modified, thus it would be useful if the article manager were able to order by the "most recently created or updated" articles.

How do people generally handle this problem?  i.e. Am I alone in thinking this would be a good feature?

I've never ran into this problem, and none of my clients have ever complained about it, but I can see that being a useful feature, especially in cases like yours.
