Last month, Democratic GAIN hosted our Next Steps 2017 Post Election Career Fair, at the National Education Association HQ here in Washington, DC. We were thrilled that we could connect thousands of progressive organizers and aspiring professionals to a wide variety of opportunities across the progressive organizing space and to have some of the leading employers in our movement present at our employer tables. Since that day, we have heard of many of our attendees being offered some amazing opportunities, here in our nation’s capital and across the country. But while we are of course elated by all of this great news, we still have a lot of work left to do to continue to grow a movement that can affect positive change in 2018, 2020 - and beyond.
We kicked off Next Steps: Post 2017 Election Series began with our career fair - and we have even more opportunities planned for you! We are excited to host the next phase of our program at the Democratic National Committee HQ and virtually for the folks out in the states. We will be covering everything from how to compose a successful resume to winning in the interview process and setting yourself up to be a leader in the field. Here are our upcoming sessions.
