New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA), the largest progressive advocacy coalition in the state of New Jersey, is looking for individuals in the Highland Park area that can make a positive change and impact in the community. Workers are needed to canvass Highland Park voters at their homes to help us with multiple outreach projects and campaigns including consumer rights, access to health insurance, sandy recovery for affected homeowners and more.
NJCA is working to make jobs better for all New Jersey by fighting for paid sick days, better wages and hours, and other family friendly and worker friendly policies.
Qualifications: -Ability to work with the public, canvassing families at their homes (going door to door) -personable, well-spoken, and timely -reliable transportation, access to car preferred
Pay
$11/hr
Hours
Candidates must be able to work at least 15 hours a week during the following times:
M- Friday – 3 pm – 6:30 pm
Saturday – 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday – 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm
