JOB: Campaign Representative, Beyond Coal (Sierra Club in Austin, TX)

Sierra Club's ground-breaking Beyond Coal Campaign is hiring a Campaign Representative to work with a highly talented team to phase out Austin, TX aging and harmful coal plants and replace them with clean energy. The Beyond Coal Campaign is a nationwide effort to eliminate coal's contribution to global warming no later than 2030 and replace the existing coal infrastructure with a clean energy economy fueled by wind, solar and geothermal.

The Texas Campaign Representative will be based in Austin and will be responsible for strategic alignment of the state campaign with regional and national conservation goals and objectives, and for creating and carrying out state-based campaign plans. The Campaign Representative will collaborate with various internal departments and programs, partner organizations, and volunteer leadership to ensure execution of a smart and coordinated state-based campaign.
