[Nevada Dems]

The Nevada Democratic Party is seeking to hire top-quality Caucus Organizers, a critical role in the 2016 Presidential Caucuses.  The job entails executing the field plan to recruit temporary precinct chairs and boost the overall attendance and participation of Democrats.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

·      Building and managing volunteer canvasses and phone banks

·      Reaching volunteer recruitment goals

·      Planning and managing training events

·      Reaching supporter identification goals

·      Reaching voter registration goals

·      Persuading voters to support our candidates

·      Identifying volunteer to take on precinct leadership role

·      Getting out the vote in your area

·      Support large event logistics, advance and turnout

·      Training volunteers one on one and in group trainings

·      Outreach out to constituency groups, democratic clubs and organizations

Required Skills:

·      Experience working for or volunteering on political campaigns.

·      Enthusiasm for Democratic politics.

·      Maintaining a positive attitude 

·      Great time management and organization skills.

·      Ability to train and instruct volunteers.

·      Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

·      Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills.

·      Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders.

·      Ability to handle multiple priority projects and meet established timelines.

·      Ability to meet strategic goals and work effectively with regional and local leaders.

·      Enjoys working with varied members of the general public.

·      Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
