Atlas Political Director
The Political Director works with our team to manage and produce strategic, high-level political research and communications to support Atlas’ comprehensive state reports, Online Toolkit and an array of clients in the progressive community. The Director will lead the Political Department, managing several Political Analysts and Fellows. The Political team:
Responsibilities include:
· Review all department work products, providing constructive feedback throughout the research and writing process on reports, memos, and presentations.
· Work with executive director and senior staff to develop realistic timelines for work products; actively monitor political news across the country; identify key issues of interest to clients and work with political team to target research and outreach.
· Develop and execute strategic objectives of the organizational political and outreach plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Excellent editing, writing, and research skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
· Experience working within campaign-related firewalls
This is a full-time position. Salary commensurate with experience.
