New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA), the largest progressive advocacy coalition in the state of New Jersey, is looking for individuals in the Trenton area that can make a positive change and impact in the community. Workers are needed to canvass Trenton voters at their homes and urge them to get to the polls on Election Day, this November 4th, to support the paid sick days ballot question. This is a temporary job that starts immediately and ends November 4th.

The movement to win workers the right to earn paid sick time is sweeping the nation and our state. 6 towns in New Jersey have already adopted paid sick days laws, joining New York City, Seattle, Washington DC, Connecticut, California and more.

NJCA is working to make jobs better for all New Jersey by fighting for paid sick days and other family friendly and worker friendly policies such as increasing the minimum age and adopting schedules that work.
