Field Director -- Red2Blue NY Congressional Race -- Hiring Now

Competitive Red2Blue congressional race in Northern NY state is looking for experienced field staffer to serve as Field Director. 

The Field Director will work with the Campaign Manager and other field organizers to successfully execute the field plan over a very large and rural district. Field Directors are responsible for directing the day to day field operations for a congressional campaign. They are responsible for planning and executing the campaign field plan, managing field staff, and accountable for all quantitative and qualitative field metrics. The Field Director is also responsible for opening campaign offices and oversight of field budget. They are also the main point of contact for all data in their district.

Desired Qualifications and Requirements:

• Understanding of targeting and metrics;
  
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training and managing a team;
  
• Commitment to establishing a culture of respect and community;
  
• Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs;
  
• Experience developing, training and empowering volunteers;
• Frequent travel required; Access to a vehicle;
  
• Other duties as needed

Prior field experience is a must. New York or Northeastern US experience preferred. Rural experience preferred.
