Caucus Organizer 

John Hickenlooper is running for President because we are in a crisis of division that is threatening our democracy and because he has a proven record of bringing people together to tackle difficult challenges and achieve real progressive change. 

The Hickenlooper 2020 Campaign is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Caucus Organizers in Iowa for the campaign’s Iowa Caucus program. Caucus Organizers will manage party outreach, recruit and lead volunteers, execute caucus mobilization, and supervise caucus night operations. Caucus Organizers will work under the direction of their respective Regional Caucus Director. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 
● Building and managing a robust volunteer led organization. 
● Developing relationships with county party officers, local activists, and political leaders. 
● Planning and managing direct voter contact, earned media, and principal events. 
● Training volunteers to express the message of the campaign 
● Preparing volunteers for voter conversations and relationship-building 
● Conducting outreach to diverse constituency, political, and issue groups. 

Requirements: 
● Experience working for political campaigns preferred, but not required. 
● Exceptional time management and organizational skills. 
● Excellent listening skills 
● Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. 
● Ability to work independently and in team settings 
● A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an ability to relocate as needed 
● Capacity and desire to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment
